Digital Freight Matching
Move freight more efficiently by streamlining the load covering process.
Brokers who utilize Digital Freight Matching technology are gaining velocity, saving time and money, and building better relationships with their best carriers. McLeod Software’s DFM solutions can help take you to the next level in today’s highly competitive digital brokering market.
TopMatch: Call the Right Carrier First
TopMatch™ gives you a ranked list of your available carriers for a load, with one click. You create profiles for carriers and customize how each specific attribute is weighted and scored.
When your TopMatch list is generated for a load, simply start at the top and work your way down to send offers, or better yet – feed the list to McLeod’s Electronic Offer solutions:
- Waterfall Tendering starts from the top of your TopMatch list and sends the load offer by email or EDI, one carrier at a time.
- Blast Offers allow you to send out load offers to many carriers at once. The choice between Waterfall Tendering and Blast Offers comes down to the urgency of the load and how much turnaround time you have.
Routing Guides make it easy for brokers to create, save, and quickly reference preferred carrier lists in one centralized location. For example, you may have different lists based on land or region, one for flatbed loads, another for hazmat, etc. These Routing Guides can be transferred to Waterfall Tendering and Blast Offers.
McLeod’s Private Notification Network (PNN) helps strengthen relationships with your top customers by allowing you to target specific carriers with loads suited to their lane and equipment preferences.
Rapid Alerts for Available Carrier Tractors notify dispatchers when they have the opportunity to contact a carrier about covering a new order.
McLeod’s Digital Freight Matching (DFM) API allows integration of external freight capacity matching solutions with your brokerage operations. McLeod offers qualified third-party DFM providers access to the testing and development environment needed to build their own integrated solution for PowerBroker.
