In real-time, the PowerBroker Detention Management module notifies the shipper of potential detention charges before the deadline, and warns them again once the detention limit has been reached.

The detention module will also display, track, document, and help you bill correctly
and calculate the appropriate settlement adjustments when a carrier is held at a shipper’s or receiver’s location past the detention limit in your contract.

Realtime notifications can be sent to customers to warn about impending detention and notify them once detention charges begin to accrue. The system can capture and record the shipper’s detention approval authorizations from customers to help your collection processes move smoothly.
