The expanded conference this year features a new training track in addition to the industry issues and best practices program from the previous years. In fact, we will offer McLeod IQ Business Intelligence classes for financial professionals on the days preceding and following the conference.
Registration for the conference is limited to financial professionals who work for transportation providers, including trucking companies or brokerage/3PL companies. All other registrations will be declined or refunded.

Training Track for Current McLeod Customers
The McLeod Software Product and Training teams, who focus on the financial management aspects of our product, will conduct several classroom training sessions in parallel with the industry topics track, for customers who want to take a deep dive on several subjects.
- Gain insight into setting up the key LoadMaster and/or PowerBroker configuration options for revenue and expense recognition, specifically how you can use the Revenue/Expense Allocation features in your system.
- Did you know you can change your chart of accounts after your system is live? We will review options for restructuring your chart of accounts to better meet your organization’s financial reporting needs.
- Ways to get better at closing the period is a very popular topic with our customers. We will review best practices in closing accounting periods within LoadMaster and/or PowerBroker.
- We will cover best practice uses of FlowLogix and Logix Solutions in managing your critical accounting processes.

Introduction to McLeod IQ and Financial Analysis
MONDAY, MAY 13, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
McLeod IQ allows for insight into your data to help you make better data-driven decisions regarding both the Operational and Financial aspects of your business. In this class, we will provide a high level overview of the McLeod IQ product and introduce you to the basic functionalities of McLeod IQ in use with Microsoft’s Excel and Power BI. We will then get you started with building standard financial statements in Excel and financial visualizations in Power BI.
The target audience for this class is attendees who would like to have hands-on exposure to McLeod IQ for the first time, new McLeod IQ purchasers (pre-training), new employees for existing McLeod IQ customers, or McLeod IQ customers that need a refresher in the very basics of McLeod IQ and using Excel and Power BI.
Class Requirements: A personal laptop is required for this class.

Financial Data Insights with McLeod IQ
WEDNESDAY, MAY 15, 8:00 AM to 12:00 NOON
Take your McLeod IQ skills to the next level using advanced skills in Microsoft’s Excel and Power BI. In this class, we will go a step further into more advanced features and walk you through the creation of a Consolidated Financial Statement and Tractor P&L* at an AP Journal level. We will also introduce you to using DAX code to create your own custom measures in Power BI.
The target audience for this class is existing McLeod IQ users who are ready to become power users of the product.
Class Requirements: Either completion of McLeod IQ 101 course or initial onsite McLeod IQ training. A personal laptop is required for this class. *LoadMaster version 17.1 and record of Tractors at the AP Journal level are required for utilization of the Tractor P&L.
Class Fee: $295
Training class fees are in addition to the conference fee. Customers may opt to take both classes, McLeod IQ 101 and 201 training classes for a combined fee of $495 during this event.
