Advance shipments should arrive between Friday, August 31, 2018 and Friday, September 21, 2018.

All shipments received outside these dates will be subject to a late fee.

Shipments that arrive at the warehouse after Friday, September 21, 2018 cannot be guaranteed to arrive before show opening. Additional handling charges will be added for expedited trucking and freight.

Are Internet / Electrical services provided?

The exhibit hall will have casual internet access only for all attendees.

Exhibitors should secure internet services for their booth through the BJCC (Birmingham Jefferson Convention Center).

Is booth carpet provided?

There has been a recent change. The exhibit hall will now have wall-to-wall carpet (no padding) and the color is "Tuxedo".

Exhibitors may still want to bring their own or secure additional carpeting through Alliance Convention Services and take advantage of their discounted bundle package which includes standard carpet, padding and “one-time” cleaning prior to the show opening. The Exhibitor Kit has this listed under “Carpet, Padding & Cleaning Packages”.

Does the Exhibit Hall close during the conference? 

The Exhibit hall will be closed during breakout session times. Exhibitors may still bring attendees into the hall and to their booths for demos, meetings, etc. during breakout session times if needed. Please note, overhead lights in the hall will be somewhat dimmed. Click here to view the full event agenda.


Can Exhibitors participate in the Sunday Golf Outing?

Yes, as long as your booth set-up is completed by 4:00 pm Sunday, Sept. 30

Golf outing is scheduled to begin at 8:00 am Sunday, Sept. 30, with shuttle services returning to the hotel by approximately 2:30 pm. The Sheraton and The Westin are a short walk to the Convention Center. Shuttle service from off site hotels will run regularly. Should your company register to play in our golf tournament and then cancel, there are no refunds of any golf fees.

How can I pay for my registration?

Two complimentary Exhibitor Registrations are provided per booth (or additional through sponsorship). The discount code for the complimentary registrations was sent to the exhibitor company main contact person.

Payment method for additional exhibitor registrations is via credit card. The fee is $1,195 per person.


Will I receive a receipt for my registration?

Your email confirmation serves as your receipt. If you cannot locate your email confirmation please contact Nora.Griffin@McLeodSoftware.com


Can I register a spouse?

Yes, but space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The fee is $595 for an Exhibitor Spouse.


Is there a conference mobile app? 

The UC2018 mobile app is provided by CrowdCompass. A download announcement with instructions will be sent to all attendees a few weeks prior to the conference.

Each Exhibitor will have a company listing. The Exhibitor Admin Portal instructions will be sent soon.


Will an attendee list be shared to exhibitors? 

The UC2018 mobile app provides all registered attendees access to a list of attendees within the “attendees” icon after login. Attendee profiles are set by default to reveal First & Last Name, Business Title, and Company Name.

Each attendee has the ability to manage their own privacy to either make their profile public and reveal other information, i.e. email address, phone number, social media links, etc., or choose to hide their profile completely.

Attendees can message other attendees and request appointments via the app as well. Visit the FAQs icon within the app for more information. Please note, the attendee list is not downloadable.

There is a covered skywalk from the parking deck to each hotel and the convention center.

What should I wear?

Business casual is the norm throughout the conference including all evening events.
