Profitability Analysis Module

Knowing exactly what elements of your company and its operations are making or losing profits is essential to running a successful company. With McLeod Software’s new powerful business intelligence software tool, Profitability Analysis, you can know exactly where your profits are being generated from or lost. Fully integrated into the LoadMasterâ system, Profitability Analysis allows you to pull information from one end of your business to the other to determine the most profitable elements of your business.

Profitability Analysis obtains information from operations in conjunction with your general ledger revenue and expenses information, providing you the ability to calculate profits by any or all customers, lanes, drivers or trucks. For example, it can calculate the revenues of a specific tractor and what it has generated vs. the cost for you to run it over a particular period of time. You can even build cost templates to define a tractor, trailer or overhead costs. Within each of these templates, each cost may be estimated (i.e. per mile, per day) or may be actual (i.e. per order, per stop, percent of revenue).

Profitability can be determined by utilizing reports or by viewing profitability screens. Profitability reports can be built and customized by you down to a single customer, driver,  lane, and/or truck level using the document designer within the LoadMaster system. Rather than running a report, you may simply want to see what kind of profitability you have with a particular customer. Using the Order Analysis screen you can do normal queries to capture your revenue and costs for that customer. Using the Movement Analysis screen you can drill down to a driver, query by truck or even by a certain driver type.
