Open System Architecture

McLeod Software's LoadMaster® and PowerBroker™ products are based on the high performance Java™2, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) technologies, providing open system architecture. This allows our products to operate on virtually any platform, database or network.

Platforms
LoadMaster® and PowerBroker™ are platform-independent, meaning that applications can run on the AS/400, Windows® (98/NT/2000/XP), RS/6000, Netfinity, HP9000, and Unix (AIX, HP/UX, Linux, SCO) systems without recompiling. It may allow you to utilize whatever hardware platform you currently have with minimal hardware upgrades.

Databases
LoadMaster® and PowerBroker™ are database independent, meaning that you make the choice of what database (MS SQL, Oracle, DB2, Informix, etc.) you need or want to use.

Networks
LoadMaster® and PowerBroker™ will work on NT, Novell, and other networks.

Hardware
McLeod Software offers turnkey implementation, providing hardware, as well as software configured to the required specifications.
