Mobile Communications Interface

McLeod Software offers a seamless interface with messaging and positioning with QUALCOMM® mobile communications systems, Aether Systems, PeopleNet, Mobile Aria, DriverTech, Vistar and Global 2-Way for global positioning and base/tractor messaging. Our unique mobile communication module, Symphony, provides a single interface to multiple mobile communication solutions. This allows you to utilize a mixture of mobile communication vendors in your fleet. Your users send and receive messages and get position updates via any of the vendors from the same screens. Symphony can be set up for automatic dispatching with LoadMaster Dispatch to facilitate the dispatch process.

Features & Benefits:

* The Message List screen allows a user to see all current inbound and outbound messages, regardless of the mobile communication vendor utilized.

* The Position List screen displays the last position of the units, regardless of the mobile communication vendor utilized.

* User groups may be set up based on the message type, user, tractor, driver, or dispatch zone. Filters can then be used to control which messages and/or positions a user group can view within the lists.

* As messages, status updates, or positions are received, users' screens are automatically updated.

* Users can use command keys to toggle to the tractor's current movement or position history screen.

* The map command can display a truck's current position using mapping.
